Life is Like a Coin

Since we can only "spend" life once, why don't we spend life making miracles? Imagine how the world would change for the better if everyone made little everyday miracles. Even a miracle as simple as a smile or a high-five from everyone would add up quickly.

Little Things Make Big Things Happen

One of my favorite scriptures is Alma 37:6, which states "by small and simple things are great things brought to pass." My choir teacher, Mr. Schreiber, says it a little differently: "Little things make big things happen." However you want to phrase it, it is worth noting that just because efforts are small does not mean they are insignificant. Even something as simple as a high-five can make your day!

Sometimes a small gesture, like a high-five, is all you need to totally turn your day around.

Watch what happens when YouTuber Kyle Berry walks around a college campus to high-five random strangers. The smiles that result from the simple act might make everything seem a little bit brighter, and reminds us that sometimes the small touch of a high-five can be the most touching thing of all.
